The sledding dogs tour in Mongolia is the best winter tour in Mongolia that you can do when you visit Mongolia during the winter time.
Ulaanbaatar and Terelj (Day 1) Arrive in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia, and take a city tour: Gandan Monastery, the Mongolian National Museum, the Bogd Khan king palace and more. In the evening drive to Terelj National Park and stay overnight at a ger camp.
Dog sledding (Days 2–4) The sledding starts at 11:00 am. On the first day expect about 40 km and 6 to 7 hours on the sled, followed by a night at the Extreme family ger camp. Day 3 is about 50 km with a stay at a nomadic family, and day 4 is about 60 km to the Khaan Jimist ger camp.
Back to Ulaanbaatar (Day 5) Return to Ulaanbaatar and enjoy a leisure day in the city.
